Metalwork Complete

With the Winch (108 lbs) being delivered tomorrow, I needed the ‘Disco
running in order to bring it home from work. The bumper will be here,
radomly, any day. So it was time to get the truck back together!
Rather than cut out the good bodywork from the nose panel, I decided
to drill out the welds and home that they weren’t seam sealed. They
weren’t, and the body panel more or less came right free. With some
blocks, clamps, and a vise, it was soon bent right and riveted into
the truck. I love rivets, now.
I’ll run over the seams and the rivets with POR-15 to give everything
a fighting chance. All that is left is to order the lamp assemblies
and the little piece of grill that’s missing, which I’ll do tomorrow.
