Michigan State Graduate Student Tracks Bigfoot
Jun 29th, 2007 by Jim Ridolfo
East Lansing, MI – As mentioned today on cnn.com, Adventioneering affiliate and Michigan State University researcher Jim Ridolfo will embark Sunday on a scientific research expedition to locate the legendary Bigfoot. Ridolfo, who is reported to have no known fetish for feet, particularly big feet, will survey the landscape of the Upper Peninsula by bicycle and document any citing of Bigfoot.
“I realized from my studies of ethnographic research that my geographic positionality next week may be particularly useful for the emerging discipline of Bigfoot studies,” said Ridolfo.
Ridolfo will be spending fourteen days by himself on a bicycle, trekking through some of the most rural landscape found in the lower fourty eight states.
“I think I offer Bigfoot studies the advantage of nearly silent travel by bicycle. I mean Bigfoot probably expects a car. The Foot will never expect me on a bicycle. I’m gonna swoop the Foot like a batty bat,” said Ridolfo.
His Bigfoot adventure is being outfitted with the latest in experimental digital ethnographic research tools from Adventioneering. This technology includes advanced digital and analog cellular data clustering. Ridolfo will also be geotracked by a Adventioneering control unit based out of Seattle, WA.
“Adventioneering will monitor Jim’s location and process any Bigfoot data he may send back in real-time,” said Victoria Jones of Adventioneering.
“I am just slap happy excited to contribute to the emerging post-animality discussions found in the discipline of postcryptozoological studies,” said Ridolfo.
