There’s No Place Like Home

Rumor has it the girls hit Missoula today, so they should be in tomorrow. They suggested they might even make it in by the afternoon in which case I think they are probably flaunting the law of the land.
Either way I rented a storage place and got the trailer unloaded and given back to U-Haul. The jeep seems to be doing well although it popped a check engine light (I haven’t read the code yet) and reverse almost seems a little lazy. I am nearly entirely sure I should replace the tranny fluid after baking it towing the trailer. A curious if minor other casualty is the handbrake sensor isn’t working so it doesn’t warn you anymore when you leave the handbrake on.
Wandered around the Alki area (one of my favorites) tonight. It’s warm, although they are still allowing burning which makes me want to have a bonfire out there before the season ends.
