Adventioneering

Apparently forgetting that the paradise I live in doesn’t extend past the mountains (which trap the warm air), I headed out this morning with a half-assed idea to ride 90 out to 97, then up to Leavenworth and back over 2.

This quickly proved a stupid (but spectacularly pretty) idea when I got up to Snoqualmie pass. The frigid temperatures and gusty winds (not to mention the snowboarders) made me check the weather in Leavenworth was like 5 centigrade. A trip for another day! So I headed back for warmer climes and Carnation carnitas. Beautiful weather today though, back in the valley.
