You have a good chance to catch up, I’m doing nothing but camping for all my foreseeable weekends, so I won’t have a chance to take any long m/c trips.
I just realized I need 4 spark plugs, not 2. New tires soon as well.
3,000 miles on the SV since March, so you’re outrunning me for pace. Still this spring and summer has been the most miles per month since the month I bought the bike.
that’s more or less a common thing. my ’96 honda transalp has the same design. furthermore you could remove the first two spark plugs quite easily, getting the other two out was a pain in the ass. also now i remember that my beloved italian alfa romeo gtv also had two spark plugs per cylinder. the italians called that ‘twin-spark’. cheers.
Suzuki is now due for its 7,500 mile service. That’s an oil change, new plugs, and a bunch of inspections. Nothing big. I need a new rear tire too.
You’re definitely putting on miles faster than I am though.
