Extreme Offroading Video

We will be having the cooking competition at the same location we did in 2007. There are two campsites near Skykomish, WA, off Beckler Road at 47°47’26.27″N 121°17’55.10″W. I will be arriving early to secure one of these locations. If you run out of pavement on Beckler Rd. you have gone too far.

Yaesu VX-8DR Upgrade

Yaesu has announced a new version of the VX-8R called the VX-8DR. It includes some incremental improvements, especially around APRS. The good news is that an upgrade will be available for VX-8 users, priced around $60, but be prepared to part with your radio for a few weeks.
